Hoar Frost is the result of a sudden drop in temperature over night during winter in the prairies of Canada when there's alot of humidity or moisture in the air. By morning ice crystrals coat tree branches completely giving the trees a white coating which looks like a 'winter forest' look out of a fictional mythical book. It's quite surreal and a rare occurance, you also can not witness it from the city, you have to be out in the wilderness or living in the country sides (cities are too warm).
