Society has closed the door
on every open mind.
It’s taken all their innocence

how do you treat a world
thats left you far behind.
thats broken every happy thought
for which you now dont have the time
but you'll never know until you try

fighting for acceptance

while all your rights are drowned

you get left out in the rain without a coat
nothing to shelter the blows
you lift your arm to block the drops
but its the same again tomorow
you've got the wrong key for the lock
and you cant break in through the window

just because my views are different
doesnt mean my feelings too
but i have strength i've kept within
