- The Maine formed in 2007 while most of the band's members were still attending high school.
They signed to Fearless Records that same year, who issued their debut EP, The Way We Talk.
The group has played with bands such as Paramore, Bayside, This Providence,Just Surrender, and Lorene Drive. The group's debut full-length is being produced by Matt Squire and is due for release later in 2008.
