She stands at the cliff's edge looking out to sea.
Her long ebony hair whips about her slender face
mirroring the movement of the waves below.
The strong winds behind her pushing at her back.
But she stands strong she knows she cannot fall.

The sky is growing darker now.
As the sun sets beyond a distant shore,
she lets her thoughts wander.
To the life she had before.

She watches a younger version of herself blush.
As he stirs her heart, with dark brown eyes
that barely dare to look at her at all.
Some years later those same dark eyes are
filled with a passion raw.
As they take her in completely
before he closes the bedroom door.

She relives their life together
the Highlights and the lows.
As the full moon rises
she gives in to her woes.

She drops to her knees her head bent almost to the ground..
letting all her anguish out with one low tortured Moan.
Her Body shakes as the sound she makes transforms,
to wails then screams.

Silent now, she sits there staring out to sea.
The icy wind and rain, numbed out by her grief.
Eventully she stands, turning her back to the far shore.
This land is where she lives now, she'll look at it no more.
