- À propos de moi
- Well im Will. Originally from the Gold Coast of Northern Ireland i left it all behind when i was 18 and headed for the sunniest city in Scotland ,(that means 2 days of sun a year instead of 1 everywhere else in Scotland), Dundee. There i was educated in the art of alcholism. It was hard toil and at one stage i thought i wud never make it but i dug deep and pulled thru the rigourous situations prepared, or unprepared by my mentors. From Scotland my story takes us to Mandurah, Western Australia. In someways it reminds me off NI's Gold Coast just without the sewage being pumped onto the beach or the multiple amusement arcades that align the seafront (ahhh a man can dream). Not sure what aussie rules is all about though, well confusing. Since WA i lived in Melbourne for a while which was amazing (from what i can mind) and made some great friends. Ive now continued the journey to Auckland in New Zealand. More when i can be bothered
- Music

Manics, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Decemberists, New Pornographers, Death Cab for Cutie, Bravery, Shins, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Allman Bro's, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Ckash, Ramones, Marley, Beatles, Elvis, Eagles, Queen and dont forget big Ken R (very sad i know). And many more
- Films
- Anything again really apart from sci-fi. Love true stories and old Gangster films. Fave film is Scent of a Woman (not what it seems).
- Sports

Proud Moment
They say there comes a time in every mans life when he feels in that moment he knows he's as proud as he can be, well for me that moment came a few days ago. Let me take you back a couple of weeks when I was severley on the poison. It was a Tuesday evening and I had just came off the back of a ten hour shift, nothing strange in that you may say. Well after work I had a little punt on the dogs and won over $100, which was a pleasant suprise, so now Im a man with nothing to do with extra readies in the skyrocket surrounded by multible drinking establishments. Needless to say, I ended up frequenting one of my favourite public houses where I preceded to swallow $60 worth of booze for $6???? Yes, I did wonder too. Anyhows, from there I stumbled to my next port-of-call where I congregated with a few friends and colleagues. Now the $100 started flowing with multiple shots and bombs, which ended up very messy. As per usual though yours truely lasted the evening and was propped up at the bar with a colleague having a nightcap while the staff cleaned down the bar. People who have boozed with me frequently will know of my inadequacy to stay awake and on this night I did not fail to deliver. Thus im on a stool at the bar in the early hours of the morning and my colleague is rightly so slapping me to keep me awake. He turns for a moment to speak to the bartender and hark, theres a bang. He veers back round to discover Im not where I am supposed to be, and he hears a man in pain on the ground, this man being me. Now when my drinking comrade told me this story a week after the event he neglected the most crucial point but we'll come to that. Consequently I woke up the next afternoon with both knees intensely bruised, a dead right leg and acute damage to my sternum and back (it was concrete I fell on) unaware of what actually occured. This now brings me to that moment of proudness. I happened to chance on the bartender in another alcohol yielding establishment where he preceded to tell me the full story. I had fallen asleep on the stool, fell off with a three quarter full pint glass in hand and not spilt a single drop, yelped for a moment or two then stood, knocked back the remainder of the tipple and went on my merry way. That for me is an extreme intoxicating fantasy, one that i am overcome with pride with and one that I will be sure to tell the grandchildren. Slainte1 commentaire 231 jours

Wheres Marky?
A few of you may know of or have heard bout my mate Marky who has gone missing in Tenerife, so this Blog is now being used to tell of and update Marky's story.
Before Xmas Marky and friends decided to take a vacation to the Canaries, Tenerife was the destination. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances our Marky missed his flight home. When he realised this he then discovered he had no way of getting back to Belfast. Tired and blisters on his feet Marky decided to take of his shoes and rest, however, unbeknown to him whilst in slumber the Tenerife Airport cleaning staff decided to seperate Marky from his beloved shoes. Marky, now with no shoes and no money or flights now decided to take action, so he took it upon himself to befriend a Spanish vagrant and started to hang out with him (eating from bins etc.). On Boxing day a call comes, its Marky
After paying and arranging another flight home for him it looks like Marky may have missed Xmas but he can still bring in the new year with friends and loved ones. Well if thats what you were thinking, oh no, Marky misses another flight and then dissapears for a whole week where the British Consul informs his brother on the 4th of January that Marky has spent the past week in Tenerife Hospital with food poisoning. So now the British consul have him back at the airport on the 8th of Jan and have got him a flight and have give him some cash for proper food etc. However, this was a idiotic move on their behalf as they should have given him vouchers as true to form our Marky used the money to go get wasted and now hes disappeared again.
The story continues.........
Well folks a month on from Marky being in Tenerife, he still hasnt returned. There was contact with him last week when his mother bought him tickets at a cost of over 500 British pounds to fly him into Beggar International Airport (Dublin Airport). She was to be dismayed though after travelling over the border and waiting for her eldest son to depart the plane, he wasnt there. Another flight, another one missed and hes done a bunk again. So now everyone has washed their hands off him and one is left to wonder "will we ever see Marky again?"4 commentaires 1047 jours

Andrew PorterIl y a 27 semainesJust reading an interview in the Sun with Graeme Dott on Rangers 2moro...
But the cueman has confessed he struggles badly to stay cool on thrilling days like this.
Dott, 32, said: "I'm looking forward to Sunday, although I'm pretty bad with the nerves on days like these. I'm not great.
"I do tend to shout a lot at the TV as well. Maybe that's why the wife tries to get rid of me when the football's on.
"I might be a bit loud and frighten the kids, so we may have to go somewhere else to watch it."
...Just picturing him steaming swing his cue at the telly with a shoe on the end shouting "WOOF"!
