This is a song dedicated to Angharad
I had a dream,
I brought an umbrella.
Dead decapitated frogs
Lying all around.
I then woke up late,
Climbed upon a friet (ship)
I boated to France
And had a little dance
I brought a cuppa tea
and fell to my knees
"This cuppa tea
Will be the death of me!"
Then I climbed the Eiffel Tower
Wearing my odd shoes.
Nothing I could do
I'll stand by you x2
Wearing my odd shoes
I'll stand by you,
Climb to te top of the Eiffel Tower
Wearing my odd shoes
I'll stand by you.
Then, I had to stop.
I had reached the top,
There was nowhere else to climb.
And I wanted a cup of lime.
So I slid back down
Brought a cuppa tea
And gave it to Luci!
She will never drink tea again
No never again,
will tea be drunk.
Thank you very much for reading it, I would love some feedback!

This is a story I wrote for my English corse work.
Waiting. Everyone spends time waiting. Whether you’re waiting five minutes because you got called to dinner early and it’s not ready or for three years waiting for your love to return.
It's been raining for three days now, and once again I find myself wandering up Monument Hill, as I get near to the top, winding between the tombstones, I see a clearing where an elegant willow, gently draped its leaves over a wooden bench, one way facing the town, the other facing an elaborate statue of Jaq de Delonge, a French trader whom founded this town in 1548. Next to the willow was a small chapel, simple in design, one window on either side, a door facing the willow, and to the left of the door is a wooden cross. I sat on the bench and watched the shadow of the hill grow over the town, street lamps started to flicker on, as the sun gave up its final attempts of lighting my life for the day. A sudden wind blew up, bringing with it a heavy down pour. I pulled my thin jacket close as I staggered against the rain to salvation.
A strong smell of wood comforted me as the giant oak doors of the chapel harboured me from the growing storm. I turned on the lights, they went out with a flicker, so feeling my way down the pews I made my way to the toilets, luckily, the lights were working. I turned and looked into the cracked mirror. A small gasp left my lips. My once long thick blonde hair was thin and wispy, and a dark blonde colour, almost brown. My wet clothes stuck to my petite body, showing every one of my ribs. I looked at my phone to see the time, I guess that's the only reason I carry it around with me, because he is the only one with my number, I don't think my parents know I have a mobile, I wonder what they would say if they found out, not much properly, they haven't said much since he left, though that might be partly because I don't like talking to them, they don't understand how it is to wait for three years on a promise.
I was about to put my phone in my pocket, when it rang, causing me to jump, "Hello?" I asked, with a lump in my throat.
"Hello, is this Helena?" My heart skipped a beat, the voice sounded so familiar, could it be…
"Yes it is. Who's this?" I asked, crossing my fingers, mentally begging, pleading, for it to be him.
"It's your dad." I felt my whole body deflate, silently scolding myself for being so stupid, when would he want to call me, how could I get my hopes up so foolishly. I grunted, signalling for my dad to continue. "Darius called," I felt myself swell; it took all I had not to scream in excitement, He hadn't forgotten me! "He said he's coming back and that he has some important news for you."
"Thank you, Daddy." I screamed down the line, before hanging up.
He's really coming back, a titanic grin danced across my face, I couldn't take it anymore, I let out a small scream as I let myself get washed away in memories of my past.
Darius and I were sitting on the bench under the willow, in a comfortable silence, just enjoying each others company "Helena," Darius whispered breaking the fragile silence around us.
"Yeah." I murmured just loud enough to hear over the gentle breeze of this hot summer's day.
"I-I'm going away, to look after my gran," He seemed to be hesitating, knowing that every word he said was like a stiletto ripping through my heart, reading me like a book he continued "I will come back though, we'll meet back up here like always, we'll be together for the rest of our lives, and I promise I will never let anyone hurt you." We smiled and embraced before walking back to my home.
That was three years ago, and finally he was coming back, waiting under that tree had not been in vain.
This is the last day of anticipation. Today Darius is returning to sweep me up into his big, strong arms, and I cannot wait. I check myself in the mirror, my face is still a little pasty thou
