RSF APPEAL TO IRISH AMERICA TO STAND BY THOSE
WHO UPHOLD THE ALL IRELAND REPUBLIC

An appeal to Irish America not to forsake the All Ireland
Republic but to work even harder for a British withdrawal
has been aired on Radio Free Eireann in New York by
the vice-president of Republican Sinn Fein.

Des Long from Corbally in Limerick told the host John
MacDonagh on WBAI New York that Irish America is vitally
important to the Republican Movement in Ireland at a time when
the Adams led Provisionals are administering British rule
in the Six Counties.

Irish America is being misled by Adams and his cronies
who not only accept British rule but are actually Crown
Ministers administering British rule in Ireland, he said.

Irish America must know the truth – true Republicans
are being demonized by the British and by Adams and
McGuinness for opposing the Stormont Agreement.

Republicans who uphold the right of the Irish people to
a new and united Ireland are now being called criminals
and traitors by Adams and his Crown Ministers.

Republican prisoners are in jail but without any political
status because the Provisionals signed it away when they
sold out and surrendered to the British and decommissioned
their weapons.

My appeal to Irish America is to rally once again to the
side of the All Ireland Republic and through CABHAIR
at 223 Parnell Street in Dublin to assist these prisoners who
are continuing to resist the British occupation of Ireland.
