An interesting feature of MeetLike Musicians is the Meetlikeness panel. While signed in and browsing the network, the MeetLikeness panel compares your profile to whomever you are viewing.

The panel shows your proximity (including a map) and lists any common influences, friends, instruments or playlist matches. In a glance you get a feel for how far someone is from you and if you have anything in common. Then you can check out their music, events, blogs etc.

You can close the panel at any time if it gets in your way, or disable it altogether in your "Account Settings."
