A wee message from the lovely Jake from 28 Jacks, that I thought I'd forward on so you all can read it.


"I personally would just like to say a MASSIVE MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who helped us out over 2008!!

All the promoters such as Robert Hicks, Steve Robertson,Ross and the many others that i cant think of at the moment! All the venue's (there's too many to name) Kirsty up in wick for being such an amazing sport and support for the band, all the boys in the Jyrojets and all at the belladrum festival. Our gig there was monumental and such a great highlight!

And most importantly all our fans and every single person who showed up to anyone of our gigs, in any town or city that we have visited this year!

THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH! We are so very greatfull!

I think its safe to speak for the rest of the band that it has been an absolutely incredible year for our band, we've had some great reviews and won the hearts alot of fans over the year who are now very passionate for what we are doing.
And I am personally very honored to be in a such a great band with such a quality bunch of friends! Thanks Guys!!

And last but by no mean least I'd like to take the time to thank our manager Tracy and our personal photographer/roadie/handy/all round great guy (**ahem - that would be me, then - Fraser **)! Who's work I shall forver be in debt for the past however long its been, never mind just this year!! All I can say is simply Thank You it means the world to us!!

I just cant wait for the new year so we can get back out there and do even better but who knows what will happen in the future we might accidently turn into a hardcore punk medievil harpsichord based ska folk band which the NME will love but no one else! For the lack of a better word - Fuck That!
We are taking the first couple months of tho to put the finishing touches on the batch of new songs we have and we will be going into the studio end of january/febuary time to record them! So watch out for our new new EP 2009!


Until then have a very Merry Fucking Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the band and team!!!
