okay,
prices of clothes..
"mum can i have some money?"
"okay." she hands me a tenner. what's that gonna get me? three or four tops from primark that i can wear for 5 days and then they start falling apart? if you're not rich, you're screwed. i am a middle class person- in a place where what you wear, is who you are. if i had it my way i just go out in crop tops, three-quarters in some naff trainers. But we know we can't do that.
If you're into fashion, which let's face it, dis-counting chavvettes & the girls and boys who get dressed by their mothers, we've all got a fashion we love. And for example, the people part of this site- are gonna be all into a decent kind of fashion. Shirts, polos, big shoes. Following some kind of new phase that's being thrown over us by magazines such as 'Vogue', 'Elle', 'Nylon', 'Company' .. whatever? So we all want to be in with Kate Moss, Lily Cole, Agyness & Marc Jacobs. But we can't afford any of that. So we look to H&M, small "vintage" dare i say it, Topshop. But again it's all so expensive! Personally, my favourite shop ever is Topshop. And sometimes I want to curl up in a ball and weep when I fiddle to look at the price tag, then drop it as if it has Aids.
The dramatic prices should be a slap in face, so get out of the shop - and run. But do we? No. We pester our parents. We save & save. Then blow our cash on clothes, hoping we look like girls in magazines & on the internet after.

right here goes, my first bloggy thingy. for kelly, not for levi- cus he's so vantage he's had to make a friends only bebo. spare me. anyways, stop slating my best friend and talk about 'fashionn' hoot. well honestly, we don't really have one do we? it's all just our mum and dads old era's and we like it. their taste in music, clothes and shit.
my mums got all her old polos that i steal. i've stolen all her cardies, i stole her ski-pants and dresses. and whenever mum comes shopping with me she just chats on about how she had something like that when she was my age, which makes me not want to buy it. we're the 21st century kids aren't we? shouldn't we be walking round in spacesuits calling that fashion?
