Friday

Well, I'll start from the beginning. On the friday we went up in Greg's car with Stu (Pyper from now on ahahaha) and Boat (aka Cameron aka Jennifer's husband....is it consumated yet guys?!) and it FUCKIN PISSED IT DOON! Bloody rain!! Thank god I invested in my sexual wellies, which must be a health hazard now as they only came off my feet wen I was sleeping! The word cheese comes to mind...anyhoo!! Thankfully it stopped raining as we arrived, and we were able to put up our tents in a dry path of weather. Me and Jennifer put up the store tent ALL BY OURSELVES! Coz we are the sex, obv! Then we went and found lil Jenna Bing who had been sleeping all morning in her tent...WTF BING!! Then...it rained but that didnt stop us, that's wot ponchos are for....so helloooo Strongbow and poncho and flowery chair!! Then Jennifer and I were demanded to blow stu.......'s lilo ahahaa, kinky bastards! And then we went to the arena to see....

Bloc Party - THEY ARE THE FUCKING SEX!! I LOVE THEM! They were so good! Bit annoyed that after me and Stu managed to get relatively near the front we got squished buy ppl pushing back and forth etc and I was jus NOT for havin that, so we moved back a bit. God they were good!
Then I met Jenna and we proceeded to have pics taken in various poses in various puddles throughout the arena, much funliness!

Saturday

After a mother fucking FREEZING night in the tent (stu....U didnt supply enough heat lol!) I finally discovered the worst thing about T....portaloos.....mountains of loo roll and shit coming out of the loo hole....EWW! Btw...since when did ppl lose the ability to aim into the hole? There's no need for shit ALL AROUND THE FUCKING PLACE!! Anyhoooo! After foning in sick at work and nearly getting caught out, myself and Jennifer (ur amazin LOVE!) dragged Stu to the Slam tent and we had a lil rave...RAVE ON!! Ahaha genius fun. Then us 2 girlies decided to walk about for a bit in the arena and see wot free things we could aquire.....helloooo facepaints, condoms (we never did get to blow them up) and glowsticks. Then we decided we shud go see some music, so who I saw on sat were:

The Cinematics - Albeit briefly, tho quite good!
Lost Prophets - AMAZIN!! And having a hot frontman certainly helped!
CSS - Again brielfy, and I don't know theyr stuff but they were mad!! Shame the sound sucked a bit
Arcade Fire - One of my favourite acts of the weekend, they were fuckin awesome!! Clearly mad also, but they really know how to play live! Régine is a goddess....she played the violin, accordion, keyboards, hurdy gurdy, drums.....I mean...WTF SHE IS A LEGEND!!
Razorlight - Not a huge fan, and they were ok, tho Johnny is rather full of himself and they were jus....meh, nothing special.
The Killers - FUCKIN AWESOME!! They were absolutely amazing, and hearing the crowd sing "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" was jus spine-tingling stuff. They were fantastic, hit all the notes and Brandon seemed genuinely touched by the reaction of the crowd. Possibly the best act of the weekend!

Back to the tent for ravioli (thanks Stu) and cider...and cheese and wine!! LOL!

Sunday

I think my toes were gangreen-esque at this point, horrid! Had tomato pasta and a nutrigrain for brekky....nice! Then me and the boys (Greg, Stu, Boat and Chris aka Pube ) went to King Tuts Tent and my line up for sunday included:

The Hedrons - Scottish (I think) all female rock/punk band, they were cool! *buys album*
The Pigeon Detectives - FAVE BAND!!! They were ace!! Loved singing along with the crowd to all the wee cool bits of the song. They had so much energy!
The Bravery - Sound was shit at the beginning then they got better! But my back hurt like hell so I went and sat outside and got accoste
