- We formed in June 2006 after becoming disillusioned with the local scene and bonding over a mutual desire to create music with the simple philosophy of passion, aggression and emotion. We take inspiration from a wide range of styles, with each member adding their own unique influence.
In April 2007, we went on our first tour with Residual Effect, RSJ and I Remain, released our first cd "We Only Kill Each Other", and lost our bassist. We made the decision not to seek a replacement, and have continued as a 4 piece ever since. We have previously played shows with with awesome bands such as August Burns Red, Your Demise, Architects, Arnocorps, Go It Alone, Yacopsae, Magrudergrind, Staathaat and Cathode.
Hand Of Death represents many things. A hand can be used to give a loving caress, to help someone in times of need or distress, or to strike them down with deadly force. We are blessed with these gifts; it is up to us how we choose to use them.

june - july update
Not much to update atthe moment folks!!!
Lurgan gig went well. Small crowd but we enjoyed it none the less!!
We unfortunatly had to pull out of the U R MOSHING gig in lavs, due to holidays and the usual shit!! But it was a good night!!!
But some positive news on our new bass pleyer though, but not gonna tell you now!!! you'll just have to wait hehehe!!
Other than that we're still working on new material, and general chaos as per usual !!!
Will update yall asap,bout future gigs and crap!!!

MAY 2009 UPDATE!!
ton's of things, not enough time to write about them all!!
More gig's as per usual, the next one's in Lurgan at the Ceili House this Friday!!
New bass player in the pipeline, a few of you may know who he is, but we're going to try and keep it quiet for the time being until he hits the stage with us some point in the near future!!

July 2008 Update!
It's that time again, more Hand Of Death news!
We only played 2 shows this month, but they were both fantastic. One of them was with our good friends Gacy's Threads and Residual Effect, and anyone who was there will know it was a really fun night. The other was with Arnocorps, who are really nice guys and put on a really energetic show. Escape Fails played that night too, check out their album if you haven't already.
We previewed a new song both nights, but we can't tell you the title yet. It's not a secret or anything, it just doesn't have one yet!
After the Arnocorps show we also did an interview which is probably going to be shown in Lavery's and various other venues, provided they can edit out enough of the offensive things we said. Curious? Well, it included references to Fred West, the 80's, missing children, clinical obesity and various other things...
We've added a whole bunch of new shows, and we hope to see as many of you as possible at them. We're especially stoked to be playing with Architects in a few weeks, it promises to be an awesome night!
We're also headlining Screamfest at The Warehouse in Newtownards, which is an all ages show. The kids went crazy last time and we'd like to see a repeat performance.
We should have some new shirts available soon too, once we settle upon the new design. Keep an eye out for them.
