Sheffield 2007!
What a day it was!! Expected myself to get lost on the journey since I was travelling down there on my own. Had to go from Blackburn to Leeds and then make a stop for half an hour and wait for the next train from Leeds to Sheffield. Managed to get them absolutely no problem - I didnt get lost which is an absolute miracle for me lol! Total journey 2 hours 40 minutes including the stop so it wasn't too bad - flew by in fact!

Found my Ness outside the station - somehow we managed to get on the right tram and not get lost. Again another effort from me and not getting lost. I'm doing well here!! lol Did our shopping - found our outfits although my top now has to go back because the stitching is naff and one strap is twisted

Had to be back to the station for 5.10 - my train for Leeds was due at 5.20 so at half 4 we caught the tram to take us back to the station, its only a 10 min journey. During that journey an old man fell over on us, he smacked his arm n side on me and his head on ness - was quite a scene. After 20 minutes something felt wrong - we still hadn't got to our stop for the train station. So we asked the ticket man when do we get off for the train station - his reply - "about 6 or 7 stops AGO!" We'd missed our stop. So he advised us to get off this tram, cross the road and jump on the one going back down and get off at the station. So we got off and jumped on the one going down. Headed up to the ticket person to ask them to tell us when to get off, before we got to ask her these 2 guys asked us where we needed to get off. We told them the train station and they advised us that this tram didnt go past the station and that we needed to get off at the next stop and get a taxi to the train station which would be a 5 minute journey. It was now 5 o clock and we were starting to freak out. These 2 guys told us they were getting off at the next stop to get a taxi to a nearby pub so they told us to get off the tram with them and get in a taxi with them and they assured us they would get us to the train station. So we got off and headed with these 2 complete strangers and jumped into a taxi. They paid for us to get a taxi to the train station! very nice guys and they saved my life! Got to the station for 5.10 and the train was delayed until 5.33 so I had plenty of time to find the platform which I had to wait at for my train.

Had a few final pictures with Ness and then I jumped on my train back to Leeds. Then only had to wait half our at Leeds for my train to Blackburn (HOME) Got on the train at Leeds and set off for home, was a pleasant quiet first 45 minutes, and then these drunkards got on - 3 of em in their 50s, shouting their heads off, and they were sat right in front of me to make matters worse lol. Then some young lads got off and starting chating " oh i do like to be beside the seaside" that was quite funny.

Final I got home Sleep time!!

Had a fantastic day out and I cant wait to do it again very soon hopefully!
