Bought my flat, no longer a smoker and trying to gain some semblance of fitness (tho the paramedics and doctors were very complimentary). Changed days indeed.

- Top Gun is the greatest film of all time, you can be my wingman anytime. Top comedy is The Wedding Singer followed closley by Old School. Other favourites are American History X, Matrix, Young Guns 1 & 2, Usual Suspects, Point Break, Shawshank Redemption, Jacob's Ladder, Big Lebowski, Baseketball, all the Bourne's, Die Hard's and you can't miss out Jerry Maguire.
Transformers original cartoon version....can't beat it for 80's nostalgia!! - Sports
- Football - all the way. Favourite team? Can only be The Mighty Glasgow Rangers.

Natural Born Quitter
An update for anyone interested, that's 3 weeks cold turkey, not even one draw of a cig.
Same rules apply though, if you think i'm getting tempted or particularly if i succumb (which i won't God willing), then chin me good and proper!
Special thanks too Sharon for plotting the quitting seed in my head and grand (NI accent for that please) verses of encouragement and mega thanks to Fuzzi (or are you called Alison in Japan) for all the amazin hints and tips!
According to Steph i now smell of nothing as opposed to "reeking of fags" as she so delicately put it in work! Steph - the Rat Cellar is a much nicer place smoke free.
Stew Tay, also a legend for actively having beers and not smoking with me.....every day the love grows and all because of that macaroni pie
Love in terms of brotherly straight love though Stew, don't get too excited!

Right Fuz, you're a star (even on other side of the planet) and you said to make the list, so i reckon i'll put it on Bebo where i'll see it tons!! Cheers doll!
Good reasons to quit smoking...bear with me while i try an rationalise it in my own head!
1. Given my track record of hospitals i probably shouldn't be trying to increase my risk of cancer!
2. It's costing me money and then all i'll do is sit in and smoke, i could spend that cash going out to do interesting stuff.
3. I don't want my new flat to smell like my old one!
4. The big man upstairs disnae want you smoking and can help with the quitting. Isaiah 40v31 (Sharon, top stuff thanks though probably not enough death/destruction/wife obey your husband chat for big Marcello to enjoy as a verse but i still love the big Wop cause he's got the best chat )
Things i'm looking forward to when i've quit for a bit
1. Being able to taste food properly again instead of everything tasting like stale smoke. I can only imagine how much more i'll love a curry.
2. Not having all my clothes and, as a result, me reeking of smoke. (A wee while at Melford reminded me how good that is again)
3. Being able to swim two lengths of a swimming pool without thinking my chest's going to explode. (may also help get rid of the hereditory Kinnon family moobs, lol)
4. Not having people telling me i shouldn't smoke all the time.
5. Not looking at howling wind in rain in winter and thinking "ah it's not that bad, i could just nick out for a cheeky coupla draws"...come back in drenched and miserable.
6. Not coughing horribly all the time.
7. Having the knowledge that cravings and temptations are easily beatable, you've just got to know how and be committed. With a we bitty help you can fight to win so bring it on!
8. Hopefully me quitting might make a few others think about it.
If i'm moody or unsociable for the next wee while kick my ass and tell me to dry my eyes and get on with it. If you see me with a cig grab it off me, bin it, then give me a hard time.

It's been 6 days since you've been online so I'm guessing Q4 has kicked in a month early?!?!? or maybe not. Life as a skiver has suited me well actually - although I've been so busy not sure how I ever managed to have a full time job before! ha! (not high maintenance) Are we ever going to have the big Q3 over big night out in Glasgow, or have you had it and I wasn't invited now I'm out the circle of trust?! Wee man with rather large head is doing great, infact the rest of him is catching up now so balancing shouldn't be a problem! Hope all is well with you and as Mac doesn't have his own page please give him a hug from me! x

SO I am total crap at keeping in touch but you obviously need a butt kicking to get to the gym so we are even?? I am BACK on sunday and I can't wait miss our church so so much! I am doing great thanks have had a more than wonderful summer with my family, honestly it's been sucha blessing and going to be pretty hard to say goodbye but looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
