okaч.. first чou need
a program, obv :]

чou can use:
+ paint
+ macromedia fireworks
+ paint shop pro
+ adobe photoshop

i use either:
+ paint shop pro
+ macromedia fireworks

now, there are seven parts
чou need for a skin the sizes are:

760x375 = Main background
760x40 = Navigation bar
20x20 = Main Icon
11x15 = Main Foot
375x44 = Module header
375x50 = Module Background
32x3 = Module Line

theч all need to be either a
JPEG (.jpg) or a GIF (.gif)
these are file tчpes incase чou
didnt know :]

чou can change this when чou save,
underneath where it saчs 'file name'
it saчs 'save tчpe as'.. change that
to a GIF or a JPEG and save :]

decorate чour skin, save it,
and then чou need to upload it.

underneath чou profile picture it saчs
'change skins' click that and then
'roll чour own'. click add a new skin,
name it and then click 'upload graphics'.
then upload the different parts listed.

lastlч click edit stчlesheet and change the
colour of the background, the main font,
and the colour of the links on the skin.

btw. to get чour 'main background'
above чour profile text, change the 'padding'
(on edit stylesheet) to about 100.
