  • Too good not to be true?

    Creator…

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
    - Romans chapter 1, verse 20

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.
    - Revelation chapter 4, verse 11

No-one is right before the perfect God, we are not equal with our maker, no good deeds can make us right…

There is no-one righteous, not even one; there is no-one who understands, no-one who seeks God. All have turned away.
    - Romans chapter 3, verses 10-12

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
    - Romans chapter 3, verse 23

All will be judged, all deserve separation from God…

Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement.
    - Hebrews chapter 9, verse 27

But, God is love. By Jesus’ perfect righteous life, He was worthy to die for our sin…

Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
    - 1 Peter chapter 3, verse 18

Death does not have power over God, and Jesus was raised…

In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
    - 1 Peter chapter 1, verse 3

Believe in Jesus and you are gifted with eternal life, death has no hold…

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.
    - John chapter 3, verse 36

Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”
    -John chapter 3, verse 16

Smithy and Viduka at the castle, what a result! Look forward to seeing them play this year. Tanzania has been great so far. Im in the town of moshi at the minute, where we working at the Amani children's home and the Uroki school. Played our first match on friday, we did really well to draw 1-1 as they had about 90% of the possession. absolutely knackering. Jimmy forbes got the goal from my assist, just like CU. Here for another few days then going to climb active volcano. How are u doing? Darren said u werent well. Hope u get it sorted out and speak to u soon, Tom.

You know your working in an office when you have to read a presentation that starts like this: '"Why should i care about office safety?" you might think. I'm sure this may have crossed some peoples minds before now. You should care though, because offices are only safe when you make safety you bisiness.' Just waiting for Brent to pop out

Hey Xander! Just wanting to let you know about the fundraising pub quiz we're having for our trip to Tanzania on Monday 14th of May (a week on Monday) in the Phoenix Bar just outside Queen St Station. Tickets £3. Come. It'll be awesome. I know you've got an exam but it'll totally be worth it. Also, are you free for a Ceilidh and Comedy evening on Friday? My sis has to organise an event for her course and they're wanting about 70-100 people to go so they pass. Should be an awesome night of banter if you're up for it!
