Determined to get his life back on track, Darren vows to put the family first, even if it means sacrificing his relationship with Cindy.
Il Gnosh is busier than ever following a rave review in the local rag and it's all thanks to Ste's cooking. Theresa enters and attempts to flog her dodgy wares but Ste tells her to come back later when Dom isn't around. Things are going well as Dom is too distracted in the kitchen to spot Theresa wheeling and dealing in the restaurant. Ste, too, is making the most of Dom's confusion by serving customers his own dishes in an attempt to impress. When Dom notices Theresa hassling a customer, he goes to kick her and Ste out but Theresa stands up for Ste and she ends up waitressing for Dom in recompense.
By the end of the night, Dom has to concede that once again, Ste's cooking was a big hit and in spite of his mischievous nature, he's a string in the bow of Il Gnosh. Ste, in turn, has to admit that Theresa really saved his neck, for which he is truly grateful.
Mercedes is using all the cosmetics she stole from Evissa to make her own brand of perfume, which she plans on flogging to unsuspecting suckers. Malachy's not too comfortable with the idea but concedes that they are skint. Mercedes enlists Theresa to help her exploit the school playground market. Darren goes to see Malachy to plead with him to give the money from MOBS back. Malachy plays the innocent and tells Darren that he'll keep away if he knows what's best. Darren refuses to leave and things are about to come to a head when Cindy arrives to tell Darren that the takings have been returned and that he can go back to the flat. An unspoken accord is struck between Malachy and Darren - Malachy has made his point and Darren accepts that he deserved what he got.

Storming out of the pub, Tanya heads across the Square and leaves Lauren another voicemail asking her to call her back - she wants to meet face to face. Lauren relents and agrees to meet, but she's unresponsive, with her only concern as to where Tanya found the mobile number. During their emotional conversation, Tanya begs Lauren to return home, but Lauren's adamant - it's all her fault and there's no place for her in Walford anymore. A sobbing Lauren can't be persuaded and Tanya is forced to return to the Square without her. Once back home, Tanya shares a moment with Max.
Over at the club, Jack's wary of Janine's motives following her offer to help him push Ronnie out of the business. Janine reveals that she wants to be his new business partner. Billy finds himself roped into Janine's master plan when he's asked about Ronnie and he lets slip about her feud with her father, Archie. Janine shows Ronnie what she's made of when she scuppers Ronnie's attempts at sabotaging the stag do she'd arranged, while Billy finds himself caught in the crosshairs and is sacked by Ronnie. Seeing Janine's potential, Ronnie promotes Janine to manager of the club, before Janine agrees to help Ronnie get rid of Jack…

Dotty tries to reassure Nick that she's more than capable of pulling the scam off and reveals that there's more money to be had if they want. All they need it Dot's trust. Fri 23rd Jan 2nd Episode
A terrified Maria races out of the factory, closely followed by Tony. Hysterical, she tells Fiz and Emily that Tony has confessed to Jed’s murder but it's clear that no one believes her. She implores Fiz to listen, but Fiz is deeply worried about her friend’s state of mind.
Tony, meanwhile, continues to play the innocent-yet-concerned victim and tells Carla that rather than get an injunction against Maria, he thinks she needs medical help.
Later, after 'gathering evidence', Maria turns up in the pub in her nightie and accuses Tony of killing Liam and Jed, prompting everyone to think that she's finally lost her marbles.
Sally and Kevin are shocked to the core when Sophie tells them that it was her pregnancy test and what’s more it was positive. As they struggle to come to terms with the news, Sophie breaks down and confesses the real truth behind her behaviour, leaving Kevin and Sally with the feeling that they have failed as parents.
Anna Windass is disgusted with her husband when he tells her that he's been mugged and all the darts team money was stolen. She knows, however, that it's just another of his scams.

Devastated, she leaves the police station and heads home but as she rounds the corner into Coronation Street, she sees Tony crossing the road and her hatred for the man she believes killed her husband bubbles to the surface. She puts her foot down and drives straight at him...

hi i'm priv1 Reply 270 weeks
Following the recent news, i've decided to write a fan fiction for when Roxy gives birth.
However i don't know where to start so i need YOUR help please
leave your ideas in this thread
How Roxy goes into labour?
Do her waters break?
Where is she and who is she with?
Where does she give birth?
Who delivers the baby?
And any other info you want to leave
If I had been in their situation, part of me would be devasted that the little boy I loved and lost was never mine but another part of me would be excited at the prospect of me still being a Mum to a child that is out there somewhere. I would have to track the baby down and meet him. Although it would be terrible for the other parents, I would most likely want custody.1 Reply 271 weeks
Has anyone ever met anyone from any of the soaps on here? If so, who and when?18 Replies 276 weeks
