- StageRat was started by frustrated music lovers who love seeing bands perform. As fans who followed bands and attended lots of shows, we found it almost impossible to find information on live shows for either "big" or "small" bands. We wanted a place to share our comments on live shows (showmanship, set list, light & sound etc.), but there wasn't a place to do it. Our "venue" section was born because it was impossible to figure out if you should take the public transport to the Oakland Coliseum (how long is the walk really) or if there were any good late night restaurants near Shepherds Bush Empire in London.
So, it's time to be a StageRat. Get out and see more live shows and review them. Read reviews that other StageRats have posted on bands you know - better yet, get introduced to the bands you don't know of.
