Cadet Niall Oliphant was presented with his first class Certificate last night along with his First Class Badge. Cadet Oliphant had to study numerous subjects such as The Air Training Corp , The Royal Air Force, Map Reading and others.

He is already halfway to gaining a BTEC Award in Aviation Studies which is the eqvilant of a GCSE graded A* - C. If he carries on with his studies and gains a Staff Classification then he can apply for a BTEC Certificate in Aviation Studies, eqvilant to 2 GCSEs A* - C and best of all its FREE!

Cadet Oliphant is not alone as all cadets that attend the squadron have the opportunty to gain these qualifications and more.
