Another mammoth weekend of sport...

Wales were magnificent in the rugby, and well deserved the win.

The All-Ireland Club finals were pretty good. The hurling had it's moments, but the football was a thriller - Nemo should have won it, they had their chances but didn't take them, so far play to Vincents.

btw: I've been offered a summer job as a guide/information officer at Ballyhack Castle - not exactly a headline attraction, but an interesting site in it's own way.

ha ha Pat, forgot bout you bringing me out to be on the Vol's team. God that was some long ago, under 12's...ha!

how is everything over there with ya? There's been a bit of a storm over here for the last few days, so it's very cold and depressing (SAD). roll on the summer. I think I should have been born in a hot country, !

Watching Chelsea v Barnsley, I presume...

Didn't see any of the game from Old Trafford, but am expecting a deluge of abuse when I head out later on...

Was out in Ferrycarrig for the first game of the new Eircom League season. Huge crowd out there! The best I have seen Wexford Youths play, apart from conceding easily early on and then falling prey to a dubious penalty decision. Final score 2-1 to Waterford United.

Hurlers face the Cats in the Park tomorrow, might just stroll up that far.
