Friday
-Foursomes: Poults and Justin Rose lose 1 down to Stewart Cink and Chad campbell
-Fourball: Ian and J.Rose beat Steve Stricker and Ben Curtis 4&2
Saturday
-Foursomes: In a rematch of Friday, Ian Poulter and Justin Rose this time came out on top with a 4&3 victory over Cink and Campbell.
-Fourball: Poulter paired up with Graeme McDowell to win 1 up against J. Furyk and K.Perry
Sunday
-Singles: Poults faced Steve Stricker in the final day of the Ryder Cup and gave him a 3&2 beating. However, U.S.A went on to win the cup by 16 and a half to 11 and a half points.

-Poults ends this Ryder Cup as the top points scorer in the tournament ; with 4 points out of 5 matches!

The Open

-Ian shot a 72, two over par in the first round of the 2008 open at Royal Birkdale
-Poults the n shot a one over par 71 to bring him to +3 for the tournament
-A round 3 score of 75(+5) left Poults on a total of +8 going into round two
-Poulter shot an excellent one under par 69 in the final round of the open to bring him to a total of +7 for the tournament and a second place finish, just 4 shots off winner Harrington. Poults won a huge £450,000 for this great finish.

U.S Open

-Ian shot 78 in round 1 before having to withdraw with a hurt wrist......he still managed to win $2000

The Players Championship

-Ian had a first round of 69 - 3-under
-He then shot a 2 over 74
-Poults played a round of 73 in the 3rd round which left him level par fot the tournament
-Ian finished with a 76 with a final score of 292 - 4 over for the tounament. He finished joint 21st with 5 others and won $ 95,000.00

The Masters

-Ian shot 70 (2-under par) to finish joint 5th for the first round. This included a hole in one at the 16th hole!
-Poults shot a 3-under 69 to move up to joint 3rd place at 5 under for the two rounds.
-Poulter shot a 75 which leaves him going into the final round of the masters at 2-under par in joint 7th
-Ian ended 5 over for the tournament after a dissapointing 81 in the final round

WGC - CA Championship

-Poulter shoots a 1 under par 71
-In round 2, Poults shoots 72
-Round 3 is another level par 72, despite Poulter having to play his last 4 holes with his wedge as he damaged his putter after hitting it off the ground after missing an 8-foot putt.
-Ian shoots a one over 73 to finish level par for the competition and finish joint 57th. Ian had a total score of 288 and won € 27,076.31

Johnnie Walker Classic

-Poulter currently lies in 115th place at the johnnie walker classic after todays round of 76 left him at 4 over par.
-Ian had an excellent 4 under par, 68 2nd round (144 for the two rounds) to bring himself back to level par and 79th place but narrowly misses the cut
