      You try to close your eyes and go to sleep.
      Then the bedroom door begins to creak.
      Keep very still, lower your breathing,

      Feel there arm around you, pulls you tight,

      You’re bodily exhausted, can’t take anymore,
      But that won’t stop them, you know that for sure.

      begins to undress you, strips you bare,
      Wish you were anywhere else other than there.
      No matter how much you beg and plead,
      they carries on with there dreadful dead.

      they rolls over and goes to sleep,
      Out of your eyelid a tear does creep.
      Curl yourself up in a ball so tight,
      Cry yourself to sleep at night.

      Another time they comes home,
      Finds you in the house all alone,
      Jumps on you because he fancies it,
      But you don’t want it, not one bit.

      “No” is a word they doesn’t understand,
      When it comes to this they has the upper hand.
      When you’ve been together for so long,
      You can’t tell if it’s right or wrong.

      One day you decide enough is enough,
      Quickly pack up all your stuff.
      they doesn’t own you, not anymore,
      You make a bolt for the door.

      Now your free to do as you please,
      No more cowering on your knees.
      Go out with friends, wear a skirt.
      Even though at times you may hurt.

      But you made the right decision,
      For you’re no longer in that prison.
      So I beg you please, don’t go back,
      Cos your worth so much more than that.

      I don’t know why its taken so long,

      Now I’ve realised its totally out of line.

      Cos I’m going out with out your say-so.
      But just understand,
      None of this was really planned.

      I never meant to make a new friend,

      She made me realise when you’re not around,

      I may not be perfect, I may not be great,
