Why Gay Marriage should be illegal ;)

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8 ) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

I'm busing down with my friend Matt and I'm going to meet Jayne and stuff down there. Should be fun! And it's supposed to be really big this year. Though I can't spend any money.

Yeah, I find them really useful. But I'm pretty sure my teacher told us all about the techniques thing... we just all forgot anyways. XD
Maybe he is a brilliant story writer, but srsly his work is so boring. D: Yeah, in Unfamiliar Texts visual and verbal techniques are basically what you need to talk about to pass. I KINDA knew this in the exams, but in any case I wasn't expecting to do well so I didn't try my hardest at all. Coulda got a Merit if I'd talked about techniques in that one question that I did and failed...
Aw nooo, Shakespeare? I appreciate that his work is intelligent and stuff, but my goodness, it is just so boring. We have to do one of his stories next year, and I am NOT happy about it. I don't think Unfamiliar Texts will be too bad for me in the real exams, I did good on the questions I actually did this time, and I didn't study at all. Only one I did and didn't achieve was because I accidently didn't mention ANY actual techniques... ^_^;; Umm, we had the same exam papers, except we didn't have to do that extra essay on poems. Dandruff mountains? Is that the poem in Unfamiliar Texts? I only did the second half...
I had to do that last year in Level One, but this year we only have to do two essays because we already did Formal Writing as an internal earlier this year. But your school is weird, you guys are doing an essay on poems or something? Whatever, just glad we don't have to do that crap over here. P: What's odd is that I only did half of Unfamiliar Texts (I didn't study for it at all) and still managed to get two Merit answers. But I only had one other Achieved, so I failed. -.-;; If I had one more Achieved answer, it would have been an overall Merit! NCEA is weird... >_>
