CLG Naomh Brid held their much-anticipated fundraising car draw on Sunday the 28th of December in Jamesie’s Bar, Ballintra.

The night commenced in lively fashion with great music provided by the TL’s. The large crowd in attendance also enjoyed a complimentary buffet.

After six months of hard work by all involved in the co-ordination and sale of the tickets throughout the county and beyond, the moment finally arrived for the club chairman Martin O Malley to draw the winning tickets.

First Prize: Opel Corsa supplied by Heron Autos won by Molly Baskin, Dunkineely.
Second Prize: 40” LCD TV sponsored by Cassidy Electrical won by Pauric Gallagher, Killybegs. Third Prize: 100 litres of oil sponsored by E&J Oil, won by Fintan & Aiden Quinn Leggoany, Donegal Town. Fourth Prize: Kitchen white goods sponsored by Cassidy Electrical, won by Annie Travers, Greagh-barr, Laghey. Fifth Prize: Bathroom Suite sponsored by GMG Plumbing Providers, won by Patrick Heguarty, Glencolmkille. Sixth Prize: Wk-end for two plus €500 sponsored by Sean Mc Eniff, won by Sean Mc Loone, Donegal Town.

As it emerged all four ticket-selling teams led by Gerard Gallagher, Menie Martin, Pauric Gormley and Dermot Langan sold winning tickets. The first prize ticket was sold to Ms. Baskin by club member Thomas Gallagher, from the team led by Pauric Gormley.

The club would like to remember the late Dessie Mc Nulty R.I.P. who was a Trojan regard ticket sales for the draw, prior to his untimely death.

A final thank-you to all individuals and businesses, that supported this fundraising effort, for the development of training facilities at Pairc Naomh Brid.

The clubs AGM is scheduled to take place on Sunday 18th of February 2008 at 3pm in the clubhouse. All welcome.
