  • Our second Jackpot winner!

    Adrian James by Adrian James
So Deal or No Deal has finally had a second Jackpot winner after over two years of waiting. So what are your thoughts on Alice’s game? Would you have taken the gamble? Do you think she deserved it? All your thoughts please.

  • Your favourite show.

    Name by Name
Mine is £75,000 Lynne. She did a fantastic job of turning the game around, after she found the big two in the first round. What a gamble as well. She said NO DEAL to £25,000 odd with the final two 10p and £75,000! And she won £75,000! :D

  • Jean splashed her cash

Jean played the first of the Love Week specials on Deal or No Deal. She had to wait patiently on the wings for 26 shows before getting her chance to change her life forever. After turning down £14,000 she gambled all the way to the end taking away the amount in her box which was £20,000. She has splashed her winnings on her family and new tyres for her car.

She said: “I had a wonderful time and I have made some really good friends.”

“There were 22 of us and we stayed in this wonderful hotel in Bristol near where the programme is filmed and really stuck together every day after filming.”

“It was my son Michael who put me forward for the show because he knows how much I like it and always watch it.”

“We had to take over 20 blouses with us so we looked different for each show. Filming took place every day after we were picked up in a coach from the hotel and taken to a big building, which is somewhere near Bristol Temple Meads station.”

After she was paid her winnings she was able to give her grandchildren some extra money as well as buy two new tyres for her Ford Fiesta.

“I have made such good friends with the people I filmed with, I have spoken to several of them since and I will be keeping in touch with them all,” she said.

  • Helping Haiti

The Deal or No Deal team were saddened to hear of the events in Haiti. It was made more personal when it was discovered that a crew member had lost a loved one in the disaster.

In an effort to support the Haiti appeal, the Deal or No Deal team have been collecting donations whilst filming the TV show. The Pilgrims, contestants, crew and staff have all given generously to raise over £700 in just seven days.

That money will be going to UNICEF who is providing aid to the Haiti earthquake appeal.

“UNICEF is deploying clean water and sanitation supplies, therapeutic foods, medical supplies and temporary shelter to Jacmel and Port-au-Prince. UNICEF will also be focussing on children who have become separated from their families to protect them from harm and exploitation.” – www.unicef.org.uk

We would like to thank everyone for their support and generosity

The Deal or No Deal team.
