monday the 3rd of sept, i came home from wrk and my dad had sed tht my grandad had took unwell, as he lived 2feet outside my house we kept goin in and checkin on him, he had bin out drinkin the nite bfore and we thought he was jst havin a hangover, eventually the blood was draining from his face and he could not stand ,we realised sumthing was wrong. we foned for an ambulance. wen they came he was still in the same condition and they sed he had to go 2 hospital, i memember packin a bag for him incase he wud have 2 stay over nite. i went in the ambulance with him while my dad followed. i was so worried. on the way 2 the hospital he was perkin up and tlkin about football as always. after waiting at the hospital for hours they finally told us he had had a heart attack, we cudnt believe it he was fitter then me! always out cuttin the grass or findin something 2 do.we wer told tht he mite have 2 b in hospital for 2wksso they cud check on him. my family and i wud go and visit him in hospital and take gifts, i took a cacctis, and in the mornings he wud find it quite funny to knock it over so tht the nurses wud have 2 pick it up and jab them self, thts the kind of person he was.he was previously in bed 22 but was moved to bed 13. wen we visited him in hospital he was jokin around, laughin and pullin faces, it was like he was bak 2 his old self.wen we left i got a big hug from him and i told him i loved him. then nextd nite we didnt go up 2 the hospital, we wer goin to go the next nite and tht was the biggest mistake i have ever made, thursday the 13th i was at my wrk as usual and i gt a fone call from my sister 2 say not 2 worry but my grandad had slipped in the shower and they wer on ther way 2 pick me up so we cud go see him. we wer so worried tht he hurt himself and didnt expect to hear wat we wer about 2 hear. we arrived at the hospital and was about to walk in wen my dad had called on us from the hill, he had got the call from the hospital and he went ther staight away. he expliand tht he had slipped in the shower and he died 10mins b4 he got ther.i was devisated i cudnt believe he had gone he was fine.we all went in the the hospital on to his ward and the doctor had explaind tht he was told he cud have a shower but a nurse had to stay with him and he did like tht he told them 2 fuck off and threw the shower mat at them, (tht sounds like him) he had waited till the nurses left and he locked the door.they think he had another heart attack while in the shower and tht they tried 2 resusitae him for 45mins but it was to late. the doctors had also told us tht after the first heart attack he was never goin 2 b ok tht he wud never b able 2 do things by him self but he had told the doctors not 2 tell us tht. he was always a stuborn git.i miss him so much and it is so true tht u dont realise how much u love and miss sum1 untill its to late.

i didnt realy believe in unlucky numbers till tht day.the number 13 will alway haunt me.




i love u grandad and will miss u so much.
