- illuminatus are one Spaniard, one German, one Italian and one English gent. They deal in expansive soundscapes, razor-sharp dynamics and no-nonsense melodic song-writing. For illuminatus there exists no scene; no bandwagon; no fashion war.
In May/June 2008 illuminatus were part of the UK leg of Ministry's final world tour (C-U-LaTour), supporting the band on some of the UK dates of the iconic farewell tour.
With The Wrath Of The Lambs now on nationwide release through Anthill / Pinnacle Records, illuminatus continue to roll out their War Machine, including a full UK & Ireland tour (Religiosi Tour) with My Ruin confirmed for October 2008.
European plans are also in place, with shows in Italy now confirmed for November 2008, including an appearance at next year's DarkFest in Bologna. In addition, the band are also in the process of writing new material for their follow-up album, aimed for release in 2009.

Full UK and IRELAND tour confirmed with My Ruin for October 2008
illuminatus have confirmed a full UK & Ireland tour in support of Los Angeles' "iconic female fronted hate-metal crew" MY RUIN.
together with their old pals Speed Theory, and newly acquainted comrades Sanctorum, illuminatus will be on the road as part if the RELIGIOSI TOUR from the 15th to the 31st of October, encompassing a grand total of 17 shows all across the UK and Ireland.
the band is very excited to have been given this opportunity and is obviously looking very much forward to rocking out with as many of you fine fans out there as possible.

illuminatus invade bebo...
hello there.
after having already spent a stupendous amount of time updating our own website and our profiles on MySpace, Famecast and YouTube, we thought we might as well invest the last free minutes of our days in creating and nourishing a profile on Bebo, too.
so here we are. still at the beginning, so excuse the lack of content. but given time, we will endeavour to make this as entertaining a profile as possible.
in the meantime enjoy the two videos we've uploaded - TEXAS AND BACK I & II - which is a documentary about our trip to Austin, Texas, last year, where we played as the only non-US band at the 2007 Famecast Finals. we didn't win or anything. but as you will be able to see in the video... we didn't really care. ;-)
