We are really pleased to announce the dates for Harvest 2009. It will take place between Wednesday 19th and Sunday 23rd August 2009.

In August 2008 many young people from all over the North East braved the rain, wind and mud to spend time with God, to get to grips with the bible and to worship. Young people were equipped to go back to School, Workplaces and Churches ready to make a difference. Over 70 young people committed their lives to Jesus and many more went deeper with God.

The line up for Harvest 08 has now been confirmed.

For the evening celebrations we have confirmed yfriday to lead us in Worship for a second year. We also have confirmed speakers Karl Martin, Jo Wells (soon to be Jo Frost), Andy Frost, Mark Ritchie and Stephen Riley.

For the after hours we have confirmed The Gentlemen, Hoolio and Ad-Apt, The Steels and Dependance. The Harvest Battle of the Bands returns this year and if you are in a band and are interested in taking part please send a demo and a contact number and email to Harvest, c/o YFC North East, Youth Resource Centre, Oxford Street, Whitley Bay, NE26 1 AD.

There will be a chance for you to show off your talent in Harvest's Got Talent. You can audition throughout the week for your chance to make the grand final on Saturday night.

In the lounge we have the return of the Harvest Quiz, Comedian Andy Kind will be at Harvest for three nights and The Lounge Resident Band will perform every night. More details about the Lounge will be available soon.
