Goodbye Charlie were first formed as an all-girls group in January '08, as both Jess's resoluted to form a band as part of their New Year's Resolutions. They first went by the name The Groupies, but that was then changed multiple times as the line up changed around a lot. The band had their first proper gig at a Battle of the Bands competition in May '08, under the name Feef, and with a temporary drummer. Unfortunately, they didn't make it through to the semis. :( Since then, GC has had a series of different drummers, but finally stuck with Jess2's brother, Josh, who began learning drums to play for the band.
Goodbye Charlie have almost 12 of their own songs drafted and hope to have the first drafts up soon. For now, check out the acoustic draft of 'I Won't Go', which is their first song. :D

      Well hi guys. :3

      As you can see, the profile has undergone a HUGE change. We finally have a new (decent) name, and we pulling our collective socks up and getting on with writing some new songs for you (the acoustic drafts should be up in the near future, as a preview for you guys), and sorting out some gigs.

      As for the skin, that is temporary, until someone decides to make one. :p I have no part of that, I'm just in charge of the profile. ;) So, Lorna or Jess2, get on with it, children. :p

      Finally, on behalf of the band, I want to thank the 95 fans (and hopefully counting...) that have 'Become A Fan' and stuck with us. It means a lot. We haven't been very organised, but you've still stuck with us. So thank you for that, and stay with us! :D But if you ever have any suggestions, or questions, feel free to leave a comment. :D (Also, please tell your friends about us. Yeaaah! *thumbs up*)

      SO YES.

      We had many raves at Rosebury. I stalked Jess and Lorna to German and Maths, discovered not much work takes place, and killed my fingers. WHEE!!!

      But I think people liked it!

      We had some slight technical issues... (doesn't everyone?) but everything worked out awesome. :D

      AND IT'S MY BIIIIIIIIIIIIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!! WHEEEEEEEE!!! (just thought I'd spam you.)

      And Josh (my brother) is gonna be our shiny new drummer. He likes metal. This is gonna be odd.

      Right, this is a kind of half-goodbye message from us. We're not gonna be that active over summer, but we will be back in September with a new name, new songs and shiny new drummer in the form of Josh, Jess2's brother. Ha. XD

      Also, we're down to one guitarist. Due to arguments on the new name, Emma's decided Feef (or soon to be something else) is not for her. :( But still we soldier on!

      Stay with us, almost 100 of you lovely bunch who like to be our fans. We will be back, and we will play decent music. :D

      I woke up early this morning while Lorna was still asleep and had a mega lyrical writing frenzy. We now have 8 songs of our own! But only one that's complete (I Won't Go). SO YEAH. :D HOW MAGICAL.
