Seapiece will be back on the big screen in the coming months ahead and hopefully have some gigs and some tracks recorded by end of june . WE would like to thank Bates Chaz and Penny for the memories over the past year. Hali and Rourke have teamed up wit a mysterious bassist and drummer and have found a new fresh sound that should turn into some savage tuneskies and some great gigs to come

Finally boys and girls Seapiece will be hittin the studio to record the debut ep. The ep will consist of 3 demos already recorded. Boy Racer, Lovers Glove and Embrace It , There will also be two new tracks on it written by our own Hali G, My Lady and Held The Sun. We will be recordiing in Beechpark Studios on the 7th and 8th of February. Daire Winston shall be the engineer who has worked with everyone over the years including THIN LIZZY. Keep ya ears open for wat is bound to be a crackin recording

So The Annesley House extravaganza, ....

Firstly the venue was a very typical cosy gigging venue, It was in the upstairs of a bar full of old men watchin the horse racing, the upstairs itself had a nice vibe with old band posters on the wall and a bar in the corner, the stage was in the opposite corner with all the seats facing it, We found out durin the sound check that the place had really nice acoustics and all of the bands on the night were happy with the sound! ....

So SeaPiece were up first, Hali on the mic and he dedicated the set to his dog “frisky” who died a few years back “All dogs go to heaven an all that”, ....

The gig started off with “he held the sun” this really showed the crowd what the band were all about with savage vocals from hali, this really set the mood for the rest of the set with the crowd constantly wanting more! By the time “boy racer” came on the crowd were really loving the band with rourke shredding the solo's and Chaz belting out the drums.....

Next up the lads decided to do “Emerald” a classic Thin Lizzy cover, another flawless cover with Penny really showin his worth on the Bass with a perfect performance, They decided to keep the covers going with “higher and Higher” Bates really shone in this track not only with his guitar skills but also in the backing vocals, ....

They decided to finish the set with “MY LADY” (if ya ask me "you can do anythin" would be a better name for the song but what do i know!! ha) one of the bands latest tracks, This track has a really catchy riff and really great lyrics with a slow starting tempo and a very quick sudden finish that brings the show to a complete stop leavin the crowd screamin for one more tune! ....


All in all the lads were very happy with the performance and they got to sit back and watch the Strutts performing to the usual savage quality, throwin in a couple of new tracks along the way, These also all went down really well and again they were well received well from the crowd. ....

Once the Strutts finished there set they got to sit back with SeaPiece and enjoy "15 Storys" a Liverpool band with a nice sound and some really good tunes, all went well and a great nite was had by all the lads involved!
