- BFI is the British Film Institute. We have a huge archive of films and television, dating back over 100 years. At BFI Southbank you can see some of these (around 400 hours worth!), view films from around the world in our three cinemas, and browse our special exhibitions in the gallery specifically dedicated to the commissioning and presentation of the moving image in all its contemporary richness. You can also enjoy great food and drink in our two cafés!
