- Our Story:
"Since 1990 we have taken in many unwanted dogs and the odd cat. We would try our very best to find them a home. Sometimes we didn't succeed and they are still here today. Among our permanent residents we count 15 dogs, 11 cats, one white donkey, one horse and Gypsy, our 'I LOVE YOU ALL, BUT ON MY TERMS' white goose.
Then we discovered the internet and the internet discovered ASH; thank you to those who took ASH under their wing. The 'Dutchman with all those dogs' became ANIMAL SANCTUARY HUBASHA
Helena, Remi and Eva are delighted to welcome visitors and friends to our sanctuary from 2 pm each day (except Fridays) and evenings by appointment."

- Adoption Donations
- We kindly ask that when you are adopting a dog and making a donation, that you take the high running costs of the sanctuary into account. The bare minimum we ask as a donation for a dog you adopt from ASH is €60, but honestly, we hope that in your kindness, seeing the good work we do, you can raise above that figure to help us in our daily struggle to help more dogs find a better life.

- We have a dream, that we hope will become a reality - this is our 1000 friends of ASH. We hope that we can have 1000 people become friends, and that as a friend, you might donate a modest 15 euro to the sanctuary during the year. A few euro every now and again makes little difference to an individual, but to the sanctuary, the cumulative effect of 1000 people doing this is tremendous

Dear Helena and Remi, thank you for adding me. I went to A.S.H. with my hubby, Neil last Sunday and really loved it there! We took Spark and Lucy for a walk, patted around 15 doggies, met BabyBear, Willis, Vlo and Adolf. We will definately visit you again and again... Lots of hugs for all the animals! And you too for all the wonderful work you do. Kay and family

basically i have two bassett a 7 year old and a new puppy, she 10 mnths now. long story short the puppy was too much for my older dog, causing her a lot of stress, so i didnt know what to do. but its ok now a close friend is going to give her a home so im really happy and will still get to see her, thanx for checking up for me tho appreciate it.
yeah i sent it to the eircom address twice, april 19 and may1. doesnt mater now anyway i think i found a home.

i took a trip up to your sanctuary a few months ago, u were very welcoming and showed us around and told us the sad stories bout the animals there! the work u all do there is amazing, we need more people in the world like yourselves,well done!
i sponsered 3 cats while i was up there, Vlo was 1 of them but one kitten in particular,my heart went out to he was blind from getting catflu wen he was a few weeks old....just wondering how he is doing, is he still there wit u??????
