- Mr McDonnell is in his mid-forties, strict, and tall and athletic. He is a PE teacher with over twenty years’ experience, and latterly held the post of Head of Discipline at Grange Hill. This year he’s been appointed Deputy Head.
His experience has left him with a strong knowledge of his subject and an ability to assess pupils and staff alike.
His specialist sport is swimming, and in the past his passion for the sport has made him unfair to pupils who do not share his love for it. Mr McDonnell has a reputation for being tough and isn’t averse to dolling out detentions.
