A Night For Wee Davie x
Sadly on Friday night davie was involved in a fatal road accident close to his home, and by late on Friday we all started to realise that the night had not been the same without a certain customer or 2 (his John) having graced us with thier banter......
I'm sure everyone who pop's in and out of our wee pub, or in fact Del's, was as shocked as me by Saturday when the tragic news about wee davie started to filter through....and are as upset and hurt at the tragic loss of a young life.
Davies death has upset us all, staff and customers alike, and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
His friends (of which he had many) have been popping in all week sharing some fond memories and wee tales of silly banter and chat, and in some strange way all this chat of wee davie has been a comfort, with that, following the funeral service on Tuesday with the blessing of Davies family we are having a night for Davie, a celebration of davies life.
I'm sure many of you will join the family at the funeral service on Tuesday at 10.15am in Daldowie Crematorium, the close family will have a gathering back at thier home, at which point all are welcome back here following the service with the family set to join all later in the evening, to themselves toast wee davie.
So here's to my wee pal Davie, the place will not be the same without you x

As any good bear will know the 1st Friday of the month is the world famous Revolver Bar Bears Night with guest Dj and fantastic drinks promos all night, the bears night starts at 7pm and the party carries on till late......
