    On the 5th January 1998, my mum took me to school for my first day. I did not have a blue's clues what was happening, so in my usual fashion, I started to cry. As I was standing with my mum, refusing to go into my classroom, a friendly face popped out of nowhere, and asked me what was wrong. She held my hand, and took me into the classroom. Since then I have never looked back. And, you have never let go of my hand. Everything that I've ever done, or have been through, you have been there for me, telling me that it's okay, just like my first day at school. You know all my faults, and everything that I have done to hurt you or other people, but you still want to be my best friend. You've watched me change, cheat, and muck up my whole life, but you have still been there to pick up the pieces. You've been there to wipe my tears, and laugh along when I am happy. I could not imagine my life without you, what it would have been like, or what it would be like. When everyone else left me, you were there to hug me, and tell me that I didn't need anyone else. You were the first person to come around my house, and the first number, on my first phone. You came with me to London, to help me get over my fear, and you listen for hours on the phone, when I cry about my crappy life. You help me get over every boy, and help me get in with the new one. When people put me down, and tell me that I'm nothing, you tell me that I'm worth everything, and that I shouldn't listen to them. You invite me to sleep round your house when I'm sad, and you never lose patience with me. You let me ring you up every five minutes to ask you about my homework, and you laugh at my jokes that arn't funny. You stand by me, and never say that I'm stupid, or wasting my time. You respect all my fears, and beliefs, and always prove people wrong when they challenge me. When we fight, you say sorry, so it can all end, even when I am being stubborn. Nathalie, without you I could not be who I am, and do what I do. Without you, I would run slow, and get stage fright. Without you, I would get nowhere. You are my right side, and my most important side. I promise you, that I will try to be the bestest friend in the entire world, and I will never leave you. You mean more than the world to me, and no-one can ever change that. If I ever find a boy, and I leave you for him ever, you have full permission to have a go, because you have done so much for me, and I could never repay, or thank you enough. Thank you for the past 10 years, they have been amazing. If you promise to hold my hand forever, I will never let go of yours. I love you, my best friend. xxx
