About Me

Tagline
Theres no government like no government
Me, Myself, and I
We are the international anarchist movement, we started because the government have no right to control people, people can be organized by themselves, the people know whats best for the people!

Anarchism is a political philosophy encompassing theories and attitudes which reject compulsory government (the state) and support its elimination, often due to a wider rejection of involuntary or permanent authority. Anarchism is defined by The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Politics as "the view that society can and should be organized without a coercive state."

some people say where not a real anarchists group so ive got some stuff that will hopefully dispel this.

Anarchism is a political ideology that believes society can and should be organized without rulers or centralized athourity. (layman's terms in brackets)

    Pacifism vs Insurrectionary
anarcho pacifists believe that humanity will evolve beyond the state in to an anarchist society o that the state can be overcome by non violent means. on the other hand Insurrectionary anarchists believe that a revolution is required to overthrow oppression(blow shit up).

    Mutalism vs individualism
individualists believe in complete liberty (any one can to whatever the want). mutalists believe we all have a responsibility to each other (we all should help each other out).

    Anarchism vs communism
although most anarchists are opposed to capitalism they are also opposed to the central state of communism( its still a form of involuntary government) epically the totalitarianism of stalinism.

    Leftist vs post left anarchy
leftist anarchists are for classic left views anti war, anti nuclear post leftist try to distance anarchism from these views

    Religious vs secular
religious anarchists believe that only god or gods have the right to rule (no rulers apart from god) secular anarchists believe that religioun is a form of oppression

Why must authority bring retribution? If we do not fear retribution from, for example, the Police then we will still have to fear retribution from those we have wronged.

While i agree the current system we have does not work, i simply cant understand how someone could think anarchism on a global scale would not be absolute chaos. As much as the powers that be would like us to believe, we are not all the same. Remove any fear of authority, we remove the fear of retribution and those who are not interested in the well being of the collective will take full advantage.

I'm open minded to this though and i will admit to knowing little about this topic so please feel free to debate this with me

Thing is guys (this is owain baker by the way) its not so much an argument or debate, we know we're right, so arguing is just a plea for correction. Anarchism has worked, and is working, AND WILL WORK!

to Arser - yeah thats exactly what happened, warlords didnt take over tribes in ancient tribes.
Some people tried to stop warlordism with democracy and communism and everything inbetween, but it failed and warlordism is still the system for most countries today, exept warlords are called CEOs. There was one system called anarchy which has worked in the past even when the country supposedly 'fell' into it, they have still improved. Why is there debate against it, all those who desire power can attempt to gather followers, although most will realise the truth about anarchy.

    We Are Anarchia

    A Virtual nation on Bebo

We are a Marxist agent-state composed of Real Historical Individuals

Believing not in the arbitrary annexion of the Earth into "nations", we refute those same motives which compel any holy of holies within the Virtual

We especially stand against those static concepts imposed over-against the freedom of the Real Historical Individual

We reject the petrification of power into formations like the judiciary, the church, the police, and all legislature enacting statutory law over-against the Freedom of the Real Individual

    Chiapas
    Anarchist Catolonia
Somalia (which has improved from when it was a dictatorship)
Even the co-op is actually a co-op - which is how all businesses would be operated in an anarchist society.

Oh and to Dan, anarchism can and has worked, don't speak in a matter you are clearly not educated on. Oh and for the fire and water thing, it's simple, freeze a big block of the water, and make an excellent ice sculpture which looks like a flame.

And Theo, why wouldn't we set up a website? I guess you haven't heard of Subcommandante Marcos?

Nobody is in a position to say whether or not anarchism would "work" - which is obviously not a concern for human beings, since what we have at present certainly does not "work" anyway. Why is nobody in a position to pass such judgement? Because it's yet to be exercised in the modern world.

Anarchism is not some highly-construed system; it's basis is in core human principles, systems and nature.
