Help A Kid Get To Camp...
Hi Folks,
SU Scotland have recently launched the 2009 camp sponsorship appeal.
PLEASE HELP US TO MAKE 2009 HAPPEN!
We make this special appeal every year for two reasons:
• There are many children and young people whose families would not be able to a fford the cost of an SU camp unless substantial sponsorship was provided. For many, this is their only holiday. We anticipate greater demand than usual in the present economic climate.
• A small army of committed volunteers are needed to serve and lead the children and young people who attend. Many make a huge financial sacri ce by giving up work for the duration of the camp. All make a sacri fce of time, energy and e ffort. Not all are able to make a financial contribution towards the cost of running holidays (team members eat, need beds and do activities too!). We need your help to make up the substantial shortfall.
Please help us to make it possible in 2009 through your prayers and your giving.

Strictly Come Praying 2009 - calling all Highlanders!
Strictly Come Praying is a fantastic event which enables young people to learn about prayer, and to pray using an exciting range of activities such as interactive workshops, worship and teaching.
This year's event in Grangemouth is already booked up but there are still spaces at the event in INVERNESS. It is taking place on Saturday, 18th April 11am - 4pm at the Culduthel Christian Centre in Inverness.

The su action group for kirkie+lenzie+bishie has a ceilidh organised for s1-s6 on 8 nov from 7.30 - 10.30 in cadder church hall. Dj is kenny mac! Cost £3 on the door.

i have been at blaithwate for the last week fot creative arts camp it was amazing the leaders were great the foods was great the worship was great the activities were great
now all i have to do is wait for nxt year

SU is amazing
Powerpoint is a monthly christian event associated with SU and is held in Edinburgh, on the second friday most months. Open to all high school aged young people, Powerpoint is a fantastic way of meeting and getting to know other christians from in and around the city. The unofficial Powerpoint bebo group (www.bebo.com/powerpoint-edinburgh) was set up to provide a way to keep in contact with your new christian friends and keep up to date with up-coming meetings. If you go to Powerpoint, please join the group and check out what it has to offer.

hello!
everyone should go to SCP this year! last year was awesome and I know this year will be better! So sorry I can't make it but im in Canada just now and will be in the states when SCP is on this year-I am so annoyed I can't make it! I know God will do great things and I pray you will be opening your hearts and mind to what God has to say!
