Altamente respetado baterista de sesión, ganador de premios en el Reino Unido, Europa continental y América del Norte.

Nacido "Ian George Hendry" en Glasgow, Escocia en 1987, por padres Alan y Angela Hendry de clase trabajadora. Fue llamado en nombre de su tio Ian y abuelo George Hendry. Ian fue criado en Kirkintilloch con su hermana mayor Emma Jayne justo en las afueras de Glas...

Ian empezo su carrera profesional cuando tenía tan solo 14 años, tocando en Glasgow y sus alrededores, trabajando con bandas y artistas reconocidos que habían trabajado en el circuito por años. Fue oficialmente declarado un músico/baterista de sesion profesional a los 15 años.

El dia de Navidad, justo despues del cuarto cumpleaños de Ian, su padre le compró de regalo una batería de juguete que armó y empezó a tocar para él, mientras hacía esto, Ian estaba observando y aprendiendo, así que su padre se detuvo y lo puso en su lugar...

So Wikipedia says... •Ian can speak Spanish fluently. •Ian is currently learning, German, French and Arabic. •Ian is a passionate supporter of his home national football teams Celtic F.C and the Scotland international football team. •Ian’s Father Alan Hendry was a highly regarded drummer in the 70’s and early 80’s. Most known for his work with Billy Rankin and Middle of the road. •In 2006 Ian was detained above the Atlantic sea and later arrested at London’s, Heathrow airport for smuggling 2 reptiles on board a German Lufthansa flight from Mexico City to Frankfurt in Germany. The plane had been ordered to change landing destination due to the incident.
