- The Plugs are an emerging talent from Oxford, mixing the intimate song-smithery of Elbow, the pop energy of The Feeling, and the anthemic grandeur of Muse. All these qualities are blended into something all of their own – edgy, exciting and new, yet with a sense of “classic” stamped all over them. You may not have heard these songs before, but they touch on something so fundamental that they feel like old friends.
Officially becoming a “band” in 2003, The Plugs released their debut EP Extended Play in March 2005. Recording on a full-length album has begun, and live shows continue throughout the UK.

We got the details through from the lovely people at Gappy Tooth, and can confirm out next Oxford show. It's a Saturday. It’s at the end of August. It's a special day, too, but we're not supposed to say why. So come along and find out.
