Cork City FC is Irish football (soccer) club playing in the League of Ireland. The Club was founded and elected to the league in 1984, hail from Cork, Ireland and play my home matches at Turner's Cross. The club colours are Green and White with Red trim, and goes by the nicknames of 'City' and 'Rebel Army'. The club was founded not long after the demise of the Cork United.
