- Glasvegas are a Scottish alternative rock band from the East End of Glasgow. The band consists of James Allan (vocals), Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Donoghue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Jonna Löfgren (drums). The band received universal critical acclaim for their debut album Glasvegas which was released in September 2008, reaching No. 2 in the UK Album Charts. It was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2009, almost a year after the release of the album.
The band previewed new material from their forthcoming second album, EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\, on a small intimate tour of Scotland in January 2011. It will be released on 4th April 2011.

New Album Details
Glasvegas have given their second album 'EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\' a release date of April 4.
The album will feature 11 new songs including 'The World Is Yours', which is set to be released as a free download on Sunday (January 16).
It was recorded in Los Angeles last year with further studio sessions in London with producer Flood (U2, Depeche Mode).
