90% SAID NO
today is very sad the nz goverment did a referendum vote over anti-smacking law over 90% OF voters voted no which is saying that kiwi never wanted the law in the first place. the prime minister john keys is not going to charge the law after this referendum has been done. which has got alot of kiwis backs up. the think that new guidelines on anti-smacking would do any thing. kiwis did not voted NO to allow children to be hurt or a abuse but just for the reason of that "WHY SHOULD BE WE BE DICTAtED TO ON HOW WE SHOULD RISE OUR CHILDREN" or "WHY SHOULD WE TOLD ON HOW TO DISCIPLINE OUR CHILDREN". you see kiwi never wanted the law in the first place and it didnt matter on how much signatures that we have the nz groverment went a head a place it into law.
as a solo mum it is now hard to to DISCIPINE my son now.
just to prove my point
a 12yr old got a light smack for being naughty she/he called the police on the his/her perants not once but twice.
as you can see placing guidelines is going to do nothing children are not silly they know what they can do. .......................

I live in Christchurch. Taupo is one of my favourite township. It has been nearly 26 years since I been back up in the Bay of Plenty area. I would Taupo would have grown so much.
