STOCKCUBE 26TH JUNE LINE-UP
Created in the intention to keep local music alive, ‘Stockcube’ strives on assuring great line ups with exceptional artists. In June, we’ll return on Friday the 26th at ‘The Lodge’ in Castlewellan with an incredible show in store which you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Keeping in mind our mission to deliver great artists, we also want to make it possible for everyone to attend - Stockcube charges £3 at the door with under 18’s welcomed and is located in a place voted by you.
Look forward to raw rock performances from Dead ‘Til Friday who are currently tipped by the Newry Democrat as “one of the hottest screamo bands in the country right now”. Dead ‘Til Friday will put on a powerful performance as the headlining act for Junes instalment of Stockcube. The regulars to Stockcube are influenced by the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats. Though with their own uniqueness the debut EP ‘Through the Motions’ shows off their dynamic screamo vocals and hard riffs alongside smashing drum beats.
Supporting ‘Dead ‘Til Friday’ is the post hardcore and metal group ‘This Years Black’, with screeching guitar and crazy drums they are the perfect supporting act before the headliners go on stage. Such tracks as ‘Light the Fuse & Run’ and ‘New Noise’ show also how diverse the act can be. We apologise on any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of ‘The Strike’ who cannot perform this instalment but we promise that this act is also worth the watch.
Noticed for their electronic and indie influences, ‘Bueller’s Mixtape’ are also joining the line-up, having been moulded into creating catchy and upbeat tunes. With their own unique style they are a must see local act.
Also coming to Stockcube are three newly formed acts ‘Redemption Underfire’, ‘End the Rapture’ and ‘Sister Morphine’. ‘Redemption Underfire’ are formed from the ashes of ‘Edge of Reason’ currently demoing their first track ‘Underfire’. ‘End the Rapture’ are formed by Dean Valentine, the actual man behind the creation of Stockcube itself and are a promising heavy metal act. Also supporting are ‘Sister Morphine’, an rock and electronic band who will be putting down an acoustic set covering a range of diverse artists.

THE STRIKE ARE CONFIRMED * act cancelled
Joining the already announced bands on June 26th is ‘The Strike’, a local act who are currently stirring up the local music scene. Their debut EP ‘The Wall’ sounds like ‘Nirvana’ vocals mixed with some elements of ‘Biffy Clyro’. From the first listen you can tell these guys know how to write engaging music. Excellent vocal tracking with punchy bass placed beside almost classic guitar melodies and well worked drums allows this band to gain a well worked debut EP. Look forward to them at June’s Stockcube were they will be joining the recently confirmed ‘Dead ‘Til Friday’ who are boasting the headlining spot and the electronic and indie lads who are ‘Bueller’s Mixtape’.
