  • The most interesting thing Ive seen on Sutter st

    Its 4am, and Im still up. Leaning out the window thinking about, whatever and watching the Sutter st usuals do what they do. Working girls, the miscellaneous drunk, and the general riffraff which compose the standard Sutter st scene. At this moment, and older man, well dressed and clearly out of place, walks up to a light post just outside the window and begins pulling the saran wrap holding two fliers in position. The fliers are for some woman running for a city counsel position, district supervisor, or equivalent position of which the general public takes no notice.

    I had only noticed these fliers less than 24 hours before, and even then only remembered them because they were on every post for nearly 5 blocks. This stood out because these fliers might have been placed on every post all over the area and that must have taken quite an effort.

    Now here is a 60 year old man, by himself, walking ever closer to the Tender Loin, on a covert mission to remove all these advertisements. Easily an equally a colossal effort as it was to place them. All I could do was laugh and say, 'right on man'. To which there was no response and not even a glance.

    I have no clue to what the motive was for either side of this battle, but it must have been important.

      new bebo is cool. like the tweeter like idea yelling what you up to and the new timeline. awesome. but whats wrong with taking away the add module ontop of the old one and putting the "what im saying" up there.? keep the nav bg and old style but just put the timeline right in on the main bg. right ontop of the avatar. ? that would be awesome. one love and great work
