Writing
Bloody hell...don't really know how proper writers do it. I just write a bit for fun and even that, while fantastic, rewarding, great, can be at times like putting your own soul through a wringer. Getting the characters...every aspect of them, every flaw, every virtue, you've got to find that in whatever extent within yourself...nail it, unpick it. Might be because I've never worked with characters as dark as the ones in my current tale, also perhaps never put as much of myself into them...perhaps nothing that anyone who knows me would be able to identify, but I know that it all comes from me, and although these are completely different characters, who act, and think and react in different ways than me...hmm....
But then again, at the same time, the feedback I get from writing is one of the most fantastic things, and something I don't think I could give up if I tried. And after you've gone through everything...you've got something you can be proud of...generally the more you've struggled the better it is ;P. Ha...anyone reading this would think I am writing emo-tales...when it's actually (according to me) more of a black comedy type thing. Ah well...my two cents anyways!2 Kommentare 662 Tage

More proof on the fantasticness of Mr Coxon
Pete Doherty on the producer, Stephen Street; "I found it quite interesting a few things he said. I read in NME he said Graham Coxon is one of the finest guitar players he's ever worked with and I've always thought he's underrated. He gets plenty of praise but there's something special about Graham Coxon. I don't know, that comment from Stephen always stuck in my head."
Why use you own words when you can nick them from somewhere else?
