SHAPES@BYBLOS is back better than ever with one of Glasgows finest.....SILCONE SOUL

As 2009 draws to a close, Silicone Soul can look back on another superb year of output and touring. With the release of their critically acclaimed, self - titled fourth album and a brace of killer singles, culminating in' Best Album' & Best Producer' nominations in Dj Magazine's 'Best Of British' awards.
They have also toured extensively, visiting everywhere from Murmansk to Melbourne. The many highlights included a seven date debut club & festival tour of Australia and and a summer residency for their Darkroom Dubs label at La Terrrazza, in Barcelona. Also their continued residencies at Cafe d'Anvers, in Antwerp and Pressure @ The Arches, in Glasgow.
There is no time for reflection however, and the guys are back in studio, with remixes for Soma, i Records, Seinan Music, Haiti Groove and Darkroom Dubs all to be released in the coming months and new single "Hurt People Hurt People" for Soma Records with remixes from Bearweasel, Jairo Catelo & Master H.
Their new label compilation "Darkroom Dubs Vol. II Mixed by Silicone Soul" will be out too in March 2010 and will feature a host of exclusive, unreleased and favourite tracks from their label. With tracks & remixes from international artists including Extrawelt, Timid Boy, Klartraum, Jet Project, Martinez, Jairo Catelo, Feygin, Boris Werner, Prompt, Masomenos, Sei A & Gary Beck and from the boys themselves.
They will hosting a series of launch parties for the complilation, from Feb to April 2010.

We are bringing in 2 awesome headline acts to give you a completely unbelievable night!

1st up is Huggy,

DJ, Producer & Club Promoter !!!! Huggy is one of the very few DJ/Producers to have recorded an Essential mix for Radio 1 and for several years his own radio show (Beat 106 / Xfm) had over 300,000 listeners.

He has DJ'ed extensively worldwide including gigs in
New York, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Barcelona, Sweden, all major clubs in Ibiza and several of the most respected clubs in the UK such as Renassiance, Ministry of Sound and Cream, no to mention numerous festival appearances across the UK.

For Years, Huggy has been thrilling crowds in Edinburgh with his infamous club nights Burger Queen, Blast and now Stereotype, each night completely individual but all with the same goal, to entertain. He has always remained true to his musical roots playing house music from day one and never jumping on bandwagons.

The former Burger Queen man is also no stranger to a recording studio having his first ever track "House Fever" being one of the first UK track?s to be signed by The Ministry of Sound?s debut label. Babe Instinct?s "Disco Babes From Outer Space" was also picked up by Positiva and Erick Morillo?s Subliminal Records, and he has also remixed over 50 club
hits including Blondie, Joey Negro and Ferry Corsten amongst others. More recently, Huggy has produced a few tracks with fellow DJ and close friend Dean Newton, the latest of which, "La Terrazza" was picked up by Kontor Records. With great support from Roger Sanchez (Who made it his tune of the week and hot tip for Miami in Jan 200 , Tom Novy, Kurd Maverick, DJ Disciple, Paul Harris and many many more. They have also signed another
track 'The One' to Pacha Recordings who will be including it in their Miami 08 WMC sampler and there's loads more where they came from....

2nd, We have managed to secure a total legend!
STEVEN MCCREERY!!!!

Steven is widely regarded as one of Scotland's top dj's.

His 10 year residency at the infamous Tunnel club in Glasgow seen him dj alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Satoshie Tomiie, Deep Dish, Dave Morales and Roger Sanchez to name but just a few.

Guest spots throughout the world seen him feature with Sasha at Colours, John Digweed at Renaissance and Paul Oakenfold at Pacha.

Mix compilation releases such as "The Tunnel Mixes" with Paul Oakenfold and "Limbo Live @ The Tunnel" as well as various guest mix's including John Digweed's Bedrock show, have all enhanced Steven's reputation.

Producing and recording under many guises, such as Tipple and Dos Deviants. He has also undertaken successful co-productions with Davie Forbes, Hardy Heller, Chris Boshell and Brian Cody.

In his recording career Steven has produced and mixed for some of house music's biggest record labels with his music featuring on classic Renaissance and Tiesto compilations.

In addition he has turned his hand to remixing indie music legends Muse and global chart toppers Snow Patrol.
