I bought a car in October,,,, They gave me a 6 months guarantee on the car.
Brought the car back in January for them to fix the indicator swithch which they fixed.
When i drove off that evening my heater switch was faulty so brought it back to the garage in which they put a relay into it and instead of having 5 speeds only had two speeds now, also the off switch was now reversed, max was off,,,, and off was on..
Never the less it was working,,, During that visit fellow in garage spoke out to me and stated,, we will not be covering your car for 6 months warranty we be only giving you 3 months due to the fact your car is a taxi..
I responded I dont care as long as you fix my heater, my indicator and my cd player which never worked.
He responded we will come to some agreement, we will work something out.
As I was heading away i left my car into him at the end of febuary again as the heater was coming on full blast while driving along which could not be turned off at all with the switch.
The garage left the car into auto electrician, he had car for two weeks,, the result was he could not fix the heater in the car, The auto electrician told me to get them to bring the car to a main dealer.
Rang Brian Byrne Motors told them the story they informed me they be in contact and to leave it with them.

I waited,,,,,, No responce,,,,,
I rang the office,,,no one picked up the phone,,,
I went into garage,,, followed by which they booked car into main dealers for me that day there and then ,,, inwhich i learned from the main dealers that the garage Brian Byrne who booked the car into garage for me was not paying for heater to be fixed.. (even though it was under warranty when it was broken and they could not fix it themselves)
They stated they would not cover it due to the fact car was a hackney,, and they give no warrantys on taxis at all,, even though they tried to fix my indicator and heater previous which still has not been fixed,,,,,, (howcome they tried to fix these things and they dont give out warranty on taxis) (Also have it in writting that 6 months guarantee came with the car) So in my opinion i will never deal with this garage again,,,
