Volunteering is a good start if you're able to do it - or perhaps looking for a relevant course? Have a chat with the staff at our nearest centre and they'll be able to tell you about the kinds of things they look for when recruiting.

hey i am trying to get a job working with dogs but i kno it is hard to get into because of the amount of people trying to do the same even the volunteer waiting lists are long!

any advice or tips on how i could get into working with dogs?

My poor little pooch is terrified of the fireworx that r still going off, nite & day. Nivana is usually a playful happy pup but she's so stressed just now, the vet gave me something 2 calm her. has any1 else got any other things i could try?? My older dog doesn't bother with the fireworx but nivana does't get any comfort from that. i don't have any really good pics of Nivana because she thinks the camera is a game & she barks at it, just like she is in this picture. lol xxx
