Skryne parish as we know,
Has a great football tradition,
the men's club are on an eternal mission.
From all ireland hero's, to the Keegan Cup,
Still not many have faith or wish us good luck!
Year after year,we sit in pairc Tailteann watching each game as a team,
Do they not realise we share the same dream???

It all started so long ago,
A small panel with so much to show!
An ambition, a drive
The club suddenly became alive!
The years are long and the training is tough,
But we will never have enough.

A bond has been formed, a friendship has grown,
To outsiders the reason is unknown.
So many memories and stories to be told,
In our hearts we shall forever hold.
Our children we know of the good times weve had,
Meave will be the first, to hear of our legend full back better than any lad!

Skryne Ladies however are not just great friends,
We are great footballers and THAT we will always defend.
from dark nights, wet evenings to the summer sun
Our love for football inspires us to run.
The pulled muscles, the broken bones and the sacrifices weve taken
All just to prove our loyalty and dedication.

Weve had good times and bad
There's been ups and downs
But Sunday, Skryne Ladies we will be one step closer to the crown!!
