Mary-kate Catches Up with Pop Sugar UK to talk about the Wackness
Mary-Kate Olsen has been doing a lot of press lately. This week, Pop Sugar UK caught up with her as she chatted about The Wackness.
As we know, Mary-Kate is seriously pursuing acting now. However, her years as a child star didn’t exactly spawn this new-found passion.
“I was never challenged when it came to acting when I was younger and I sort of just did whatever was given to me without asking questions,” she said to Pop Sugar. “I didn’t really understand why I enjoyed it or why I did it and I guess I wasn’t quite sure about it anymore. I made the decision to take acting seriously after high school. When I was in my Freshman year at college (at NYU) I took some acting classes and found that I fell in love with acting again.”
The interview is all about the film, what it was like to work with Ben Kingsley and Jonthan Levine and how she feels about her character, Union.
The Wackness premieres in the UK on August 29.

Mary-kate Olsen starring in Samantha Who?
“She started today, and she’s terrific.”
That’s the word from a reliable Samantha Who? insider on the show’s latest guest star: Mary-Kate Olsen.
After a tip-off from on-set sources, ABC has just confirmed that Mary-Kate is shooting an episode of the divine, good-versus-evil comedy this week, playing a character whom Samantha (Christina Applegate) tries to “save.” (Score one for Good Sam.)
I’m told mary-kate is only slated to do one episode (airing this fall), and the powers that be are very happy with her performance so far.
Of course, if you saw Mary-Kate tormenting Silas on Weeds last season, you know the girl has serious comedy chops. (Word is she also did some show with a guy named “Uncle Jesse”? Doesn’t ring a bell.)

Mary-kate and Ashley's book?......
The Olsen twins are hoping to spread a little “Influence.”
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are working on a coffee-table book about fashion, titled “Influence,” that a division of Penguin Group will release in the fall.
According to a statement issued Wednesday by Penguin, the book will include “exclusive photographs of Ashley and Mary-Kate from world renowned photographer Rankin, and a wide variety of other never-before-seen materials and interviews from Mary-Kate and Ashley’s personal collections.”
The 21-year-old actresses will be writing about photographers, artists and designers including Bob Colacello, Terry Richardson, Jack Pierson and Christian Louboutin.
“Mary-Kate and I have filled ‘Influence’ with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know – the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation,” Ashley Olsen said in a statement.
“Ashley and I interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others,” Mary-Kate Olsen said in a statement.

Ashley informed me in mail about what is happening. She doesn't really care if you believe her or you don't. It's just the La-style & Ny-chic fakes have been really meen and offensive to them.
